Data privacy is an important issue for our company because it is a top concern for our clients. We work with a wide range of clients, each with their GDPR data privacy requirements. In order to ensure that we are able to provide the best possible service to our clients, we prioritize data privacy in all of our operations. This means that we take steps to protect the personal information of our clients, and we are careful to handle it in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Google Fonts

All Google Fonts and icons are hosted on our servers to solve this "data privacy problem" with a potential connection to the Google Fonts servers. From a data privacy standpoint, these fonts are not a problem.

Segment

AMAZD uses the "EU West" data processing region at Segment. Segment is not listed in our AVV because we never send personal data to Segment. The events that Segment receives have the IP "0.0.0.0". Even after logging in, Segment only receives an anonymized user ID from us, i.e. even after logging in and the user's consent to our terms of service, AMAZD does not send any personal data to Segment. This means that no personal data is processed.

AMAZD uses. Segment before the user logs in to understand which specific trigger (i.e. QR code, widget bubble, action button) initiated the conversation and at which step of the inflow into the conversation the user may have dropped out. In this way, AMAZD can share insights with you about which triggers work best on which pages/media. The events that Segment receives are the same as those that the user transmits to our server by using amazd.

Incognito

In incognito mode, the settings in the browser can suppress third-party JavaScript. Unfortunately, there is no technical way to bypass this. Nevertheless, it is an edge case, as the default incognito settings allow our JavaScript (and all third-party JavaScript) and most customers do not customize their settings.
